Busbars, bus bars and interconnecting bars

Whether it's for an industrial and military equipment, a renewable energy or for transportation, our insulated and laminated busbars integrate intelligently into your various projects with a multitude of design possibilities thanks to the manufacture of prototypes.

Laminated busbars can be manufactured in many sizes and shapes, flat or even three-dimensional, with up to 5 layers of conductors  (usually from pure copper- tinned or nickel-plated) insulated with thin layers of polycarbonate or other insulating materials depending on the applications.

The whole, whether the size and finish of the conductors or the type and number of terminals (threaded inserts, connector blocks, contact surface depth, dielectric materials) can then be designed specifically thanks to a production management as close as possible to the requirements related to the projects of our customers.

Either way, they will offer a simple design for better optimized and more robust power distribution compared to traditional wiring methods.

What is a busbar?

The development of high-power electronics, especially IGBT technology, has led to an increasing demand for power distribution solutions that meet specific requirements. Laminated busbars, also known asinterconnect bars, are essential components in this field. They are made from layers of machined copper separated by dielectric materials and then laminated into a unified structure.

Why choose a busbar?

Laminated busbars offer many advantages, including low voltage drop, high current carrying capacity, high signal and noise suppression, low inductance, and robust mechanical design . They reduce system costs, improve reliability, and are suitable for a variety of industrial, military, transportation, and energy applications.

What are its areas of application?

The industrial sector

Our busbars are suitable for motor drives, welding machines, industrial testing machines, forklifts and generator sets , offering superior performance and increased reliability compared to standard copper wire or bars.

The defense and military sector

Used in tanks, submarines, sonar/radar tracking stations and missile guidance equipment , our busbars improve electrical performance and save space with their compact design.

The transport sector

Our laminated busbars are ideal for electric cars, trains and other heavy vehicles , providing efficient power distribution with low inductance and balanced capacitance.

The energy sector

Integrated into photovoltaic panels and wind turbines , our laminated busbars facilitate reliable and efficient energy distribution, contributing to the transition to renewable energy sources.
